Email to Fax is simple

• Open your Outlook to send a new email.
• Attach the document you want to fax.
• In the ‘To’ field, type [email protected] (e.g. [email protected]).
• Type your covering message into the message field.
• Press send!

How to sign up

2. Once you’ve completed and returned your contract, your Email to Fax service will be activated within 48 hours.

As a Sage Pastel Xpress or Partner customer, you are now able to send multiple faxes directly from your Sage Pastel Accounting application. Automate the faxing of your invoices and statements (or any other Sage Pastel documents), and avoid the time wasted by manually sending each fax.

Without Sage Pastel Application Fax you will have to deal with the following:

Fax sending is time intensive
Customers wishing to send financial documents such as invoices, statements, purchase orders, payment confirmations etc. as faxes must print them out, and then fax them individually and manually from a fax machine. If a fax sending fails, customers are required to start the process all over again.

Fax receiving is time intensive
Faxes received on a fax machine require regular trips to check whether they have arrived. In addition, where a fax machine is shared, often faxes go missing.

Reporting
Consolidated reports from a fax machine on the status of faxes sent (delivered, failed etc.) are very difficult to get.

Archiving
Because faxes are printed and manually sent, an electronic archive of all transactions (faxes sent and received) is not available. There is no audit trail on all inbound and outbound documents.
