A great success is how you would describe the Sage HR & Evolution ERP event in Nairobi. It was held at the Southern Sun Mayfair Hotel on Thursday 19 June and drew a record number of 270 delegates. They consisted of both new prospects across multiple industries as well as the valued Business Partners for both HR Africa and Evolution ERP.
The agenda was well developed with a great synergy of Sage products, including Sage HR, Payroll and ESS, Sage Evolution ERP, Sage Inventory Adviser, Sage CRM and Sage Intelligence.
The event kicked off with a powerful motivational talk from the sales guru, Billy Wilson, who created lots of excitement and energy while educating people on how to be a better sales person. He was followed by presentations on all the Sage products. The event was brilliantly designed so delegates could sign up for the different sessions within the ‘tracks’ which interested them or where relevant to their businesses.
While the primary goal was lead generation and relationship building we also generated valuable PR. A multitude of journalists attended the event, including representatives from CIO East Africa and The People.
We have to send out a huge thank you to the Sage team in Kenya who did a world-class job in putting together a well-structured event. This is, without a doubt, the most successful Africa event to date.
